Riding as a whole should guide the rider to move his body as a unit. We should not think separately in terms of rein, leg and weight aids. If a rider moves correctly on the horse, he can execute all aids correctly through the position of his body alone.
However, this always sounds easier than it is.
A lack of exercise, a lot of sedentary work and, unfortunately, a lack of knowledge on the part of riding instructors and judges have turned riding into something that is damaging to horses. Injuries, stress disorders and movement disorders caused by the way we ride are on the increase.
This course is intended to give interested riders an opportunity to improve their own body control and body awareness to enable healthy movement of the horse.
And, of course, it is designed to help riders and horses enjoy correct movement.
